It is perfectly acceptable to be the worst player when participating in a group sport. You just better be aware that you are the worst player.

Sometimes the worst guy overcompensates for their lack of talent with gusto. Quick hint, if it is a co-ed sport, don't try too hard just enjoy yourself.
